Terms of Service

1. Service Description
tryDali provides a productivity suite for educators to manage grading and classroom tasks integrated with Google Classroom.
2. Eligibility & Authorization
Users must be certified educators. When using tryDali with student data, the teacher represents that they have the authority from their School or District to act as an agent of the parent (Consent in Lieu of Parent) as permitted by COPPA.
3. Sharing of Data
Users are prohibited from sharing student personally identifiable information (PII) with unauthorized third parties.
4. School District Obligations (SOPPA)
As an "Operator" under Illinois SOPPA, tryDali agrees to:
- Implement and maintain reasonable security procedures.
- Notify the District within the legal timeframe in case of a data breach.
- Collaborate with the District to fulfill requests for data inspection or deletion.
5. Limitation of Liability
tryDali is a tool to assist educators. While we strive for 100% accuracy with Gemini 3 Flash, the educator is responsible for reviewing and confirming all grades before they are synced back to Google Classroom.
